Easy Like Sunday Morning

I got the usual domestic duties done yesterday. Today I'd like to wash and detail my car. If I don't, oh well, maybe soon I can afford to have someone do that too.

I have a lot to concentrate on this week preparing for my interview which I hope is the last.

I went in early Friday because we were short a person on vacation so I filled that gap. My schedule will more than likely change and will no longer have Saturday's and Sunday's off, it will probably be Sunday's and Monday's like my bosses schedule is now if I'm selected. That's OK as long as I have off to watch football. Of course I could be called in at anytime, first if we were short, I'd try to get someone to fill the gap, if I can't, it's all me, been there and done that.

All has been quiet on the home front lately. Makes for good rest when I can. I'm going to take it easy while I can, enjoy some tunes.

The Chicken, Laid To Rest

After my last comment on Joe's blog, I didn't hear anymore feed back from this "Jackson" person. I hate to go to such extremes, it's enough to make you want to quit eating meat however some people have heads so thick they won't except anything else. If anything else it shows my persistence, especially when some needle dick calls me ignorant, they are in for a fight when I do know I'm right.

The only other thing I could offer that person is a cyber fist jumping out of his monitor and into his face LoL Come on, really don't you think sometimes that should be an option? : ) I should google a cyber punch.

Hey, that's been a highlight of my week, things are getting better!

Unhealthy Debate

Check out comments on Salis.New where someone is challinging me about meat production, trying to tell me that absolutely every chicken delivered to the public is hand inspected by a USDA inspector. For one thing, USDA inpectors aren't there 24/7 and there is a lot of room for abuse of the system.

I googled enough stuff to make you want to quit eating meat, what am I going to do with that Food Lion London Broil that I bought because it was a couple days old and marked down? I'm going to eat it! I buy them all the time there. Ever seen Walmart meat? Steaks look like they were cut with a hand saw. I've never bought a steak at Walmart.

One report said that only 1% of imported meats get inspected. Further, China processes chickens that are packaged in Canada and says "packaged in Canada" never mentioning that they were grown and butchered in China. I would be more concerned about the imported meats, especially from China, hey they use lead paint in kids toys too, don't they?

Obviously this person has monetary interest in chickens and fears income loss. There is really no need for him to panic, people aren't going to quit eating chicken. Pissed me off when he called me ignorant though : )
